07-10 October 2008 16th Kazakhstan International "Oil & Gas" Exhibition and Conference takes place in Almaty.

After 15 years KIOGE becomes world famous (UFI certified) oil exhibition one of the most recognized international industrial forums for upstream and downstream oil companies. The exhibition is hosted by Iteca company. KIOGE 2008, 16th Kazakhstan International "Oil & Gas" Exhibition and Conference is included to the list of events with partial funding from the Russian budget of 2008.

Among the constant Russian participants of the exhibition are Gazprom, Lukoil, BKE, Sberbank and other companies. In 2007 600 companies from 33 countries took part in the exhibition, including 31% from Kazakhstan, 29% from Russia and CIS and 40% from other countries.

Two day conference is held within the exhibition. It will discuss the following:

-          the role of Kazakhstan at the global oil market;

-          strategy of Kazakhstan oil and gas industry development;

-          investments, legislation and taxation: prospects and opportunities;

-          part of private companies in Kazakhstan oil and gas sector development;

-          exploration and production in Kazakhstan
