Labour safety has been and remains a critical factor for reliable and sustainable development of the Russian economy.
Energy sector performance is crucial for the industry, agrarian, transport and communication sectors, defence industry complex and social sphere. The life of everyone in Russia and its prosperity heavily depend on the quality and reliability of energy sector performance.
The energy industry is a sector where risks and hazards are inherent and therefore inevitable. In terms of workload pressures and occupational hazards the energy sector ranks third among other Russian industries. Personnel are exposed to high voltage and hazardous and detrimental environments and perform elevated work. Risks in the energy sector may be minimised through refined production organization and management coupled with safety enhancement efforts. The SAPE 2010 Exhibition and Conference aims to raise awareness of labour safety issues and advanced domestic and foreign experience in the area under review among both company managers and safety experts. Exhibition attendees will have the opportunity to look into and discuss the current state of safety and human resources development and personnel training in the sector. The exhibition is a great occasion for domestic and foreign manufacturers to show their latest solutions to improve safety at production facilities. These would be helpful for employers concerned about creating safe labour conditions for employees and preserving their health. Energy and engineering companies, manufacturers of equipment, diagnostic and protection technologies will be interested to take part in the SAPE 2010 Exhibition and Conference, which will be held between 13 and 16 April 2010 in Moscow and will undoubtedly provide contracting opportunities.
